Bille Brahe’s heavenly inspirations stem from her childhood, growing up
as the descendant of the pioneering 16th century astronomer Tycho Brahe. Inspired by the mystical nature of the night sky, to her diamonds represent the stars, while pearls symbolize the Earth's love affair with the moon. Her collections are characterized by taking classic fine jewelry motifs and reinterpreting them through the lens of her Scandinavian minimalist

materials. “When I use diamonds or gold, my feeling is that you’re taking these precious materials that are thousands of years old out of the ground. You have a responsibility to do something special with them.”
